My Tins

Recently I've tried my hand at some tin making. Living with the queen of the tins, it was bound to happen some time! I've really enjoyed making tins & really love how they look.
I love these papers from Stampin' Up!
I made these Twin Tins for Simone. one for Jackson & one for Isabella.

Esther & Jess came over to scrap with us on Thursday & we all made these cases. I love how mine turned out, even though I didn't put ribbon on the top, cause I couldn't get it to work!
Altering tins really is a lot of fun & I know I won't be able to stop now!

Welcome Isabella & Jackson!!!

My cousin Simone had her twins yesterday. We went to visit them today. They are just so beautiful!
Isabella Rose. She was born first & is slightly bigger than her brother. She is very much a Pignataro. She looks a lot like Jhorjie & Dominic did when they were born.

Jackson William. He is the younger twin & he is such an individual! He looks quite different than the others & has fairer hair. But still so gorgeous.
And Simone was looking so good. Good on ya Simone, you've done so well over the last nine months & now the fun (& harder!) bit is finally here! Just remember, we are only around the corner & happy to come over for cuddles any time!

Two Farewells, A Catchup & A Blast From The Past!

Well it's been quite a hectic couple of weeks!
Sad news in that my cousin Erin moved to Mackay on Sunday. We had a girls day in Berry on Thursday as a farewell fr her, which was a lot of fun.
I am going to miss her so much, she has always been one of my best friends.

We also said farewell to Neeta, one of our doctors at work, who has moved to Sydney. We had a farewell dinner 2 weeks ago for her with all the girls from work. Neeta is in the middle of the above pic, wearing the yellow jacket.

Gonna miss Neeta so much as well, she is so lovely & used to be my walking buddy!

But happy news in that I got to catch up with my best bud Amy, who lives in Townsville but came to visit a couple of weeks ago. It was great to catch up with her.
I got a blast from the past the other week, when Dad came home with a box full of Gran's stuff & pulled out this altered book I had made for Gran when I was 9. I looked at it & thought this was my very first venture into anything scrapbooking related!

So, if you were wondering where my scrapbooking started, here it is!
