Ziggy: Shrek & Soccer Super Star
Isn't Ziggy just the cutest?! I saw these Shrek ears at Kmart the other day and couldn't resist buying them because I knew how cute Ziggy would look in them! That was definitely $3 well spent.

Bible Verse of the Week
"The unfading beauty of a quiet and gentle spirit is of great worth in God's sight."
~ 1 Peter 3:4
Mike Browne told me this bible verse. I love it because I really hate how quiet I am, how I struggle to say things and contribute to conversations. It makes me feel worthless and embarrassed. But this verse reminds me that I am still important to God no matter how quiet I am and that my quiet nature could actually be a blessing.

Called In
Don't you just love getting called in to work?! Actually it wasn't too bad. I really enjoyed work today. I didn't mind getting called in after my plans with Melinda fell through. There was such a relaxed atmosphere at work today and the time went so fast, so that was good. And it was good to see Denise and Mike and Michele before they all went away on leave so that I could wish them a good holiday, seeing as I forgot to say it to them yesterday.

I Got Spoiled!
I got lots of pressies after my baptism. I wasn't expecting anything at all, so I was very surprised. It started with Mike Browne giving me a card with a lovely message in it. Then when I got back to the scrapping day I was bombarded with gifts. Amanda scrapped a frame for me, which is really beautiful. She also gave me a little bible verse card. Lou gave me a gorgeous card that she made. Cass made me a beautiful notebook. I had never met her, so I was especially shocked that she had made me something. It was great to meet her, she is a lovely person. And Cathy made me such a gorgeous little book. I've only posted two views of it. It looks good in these photos but it looks even more amazing in person. And when I got home mum and dad gave me a new bible. I felt very spoiled, I wasn't expecting anything at all. Thankyou everyone for your support and for my lovely cards and gifts. Thankyou so much.

Baptism
I got baptised yesterday. It was in the middle of the scrapping with soul day. About half the people at the scrapping day left to attend the baptism. It was me and 4 others who got baptised down at the Shoalhaven river. There were so many people there. I didn't expect that many people. I had my own little support club and I really appreciate them all being there for me. It was so nice to have them all there. I'm glad that I finally got baptised because it is something I have wanted to do for ages and I finally had the guts to approach the pastor and tell him.

Big Day Tomorrow
I have a very exciting day tomorrow. 10 hour scrapping with soul day at the church which is always fun. I've got so many projects planned. Lots of layouts and I'm even branching out and doing a couple of canvases. And I'm getting baptised at 3:30 down by the river (in the middle of the scrap day) so I'm very excited about that too. I was so excited on the drive home from work and I was planning what I was going to say, and I totally forgot to pick my mum up at Wooleys. I walked in the door and dad said where's mum? Whoops! Sorry mum!

No Holidays For Doctors
I think doctors shouldn't be allowed to have holidays. Na, I'm only joking. Of course they deserve holidays. It's just that work has been so stressful over the last couple of months because we have constantly had doctors away. So we're getting all these phone calls but there is no room to fit all the patients in. It's really hard and we're all struggling. I don't know about everyone else but I am majorly stressed. I dread answering the phone at the moment. I can't wait for a few weeks time when they will all be back and then hopefully things will return to normal.
