I had the best day yesterday hanging out with my best friends Amy & Melinda (& Melinda's daughter Kaitlyn). It was so much fun. It was just like old times.
It's only two weeks until Amy moves to Townsville & days like yesterday make me realise how much I am going to miss her. I am starting to feel really sad.
I have 4 really close friends, and over the last two years one has moved to Orange, one has moved to Sydney, and now Amy is moving to Townsville. I hope Melinda never moves away, I don't know how I will cope without any of my friends.
I am really happy for Amy that she's making this big change in her life & am so excited for her, but I am just going to miss her so much. But we did have a great day yesterday. Hanging out, having fun & taking heaps of silly photos. Here is Amy & I on the swing.

All About The Boys
A couple of weeks ago I was looking through my scrapbooking albums & noticed that it was very girl-oriented. There were hardly any male pages. So this weekend I made an album all about the boys. 20 pages all about the males in my life, showing their activites, attitudes & actions. Here are my fav pages from the album.
This first page is of Dominic. He looked so gorgeous in his little camoflage shirt. Pretty much all the photos I have of Dad are of him pulling faces!

50 Years Old
The chair that is!
We have Dominic over tonight for a sleepover, so Dad got his old high chair out for Dominic to sit in to eat his dinner. Yep this is the high chair my Dad used when he was a baby. My Grandpa made it himself. It is still in really good condition.
Here are some photos I found of Dad sitting in the chair when he was a baby. How cute!

Happy Birthday Dad!!!
Today is my Dad's birthday. We took him out to lunch at Gerroa, where we had a lovely seafood platter. We bought him heaps of licorice & guiness (which is all he ever asks for) and here he is proudly showing off his new panthers shirt.

Lusi's Challenge
I joined Lusi Austin & friends on her blog last night for a night of scrapping. During the night Lusi posted a challenge, the criteria was:
* the colour purple
* an envelope or part of one
* paper clip, staples or hair clip
* 3 circles
* hand journalling
So I completed the above page. It's a photo from my Year 10 Formal of my best friends from high school and is part of my beautiful people album.
I used a piece of purple patterned paper as the background. I then grabbed a purple striped envelope and stuck it on with the photo poking out of it, and attatched a butterfly hair clip to the seal of the envelope. I then tucked 3 circles behind the photo, and wrote my hand journalling on the circles. I then threw in a few finishing touches and it was finished.
It was a lot of fun. I do love challenges. My favourite challenges are the ones where you are given a list of products/criteria you have to use, that's always heaps of fun. Last night I mentioned to Lusi the pages I had made from the Paper Crafts Festival we met at last year, and she wanted to see them, so here you go Lusi I've posted them for ya.
